A No-Face Halloween Party

Halloween was round the corner again and this time round we decided to have a bit of fun ourselves. Decked in our No Face costume from Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away, we stood outside our cafe to shock unsuspecting passers-by all in the spirit of Halloween humor. Originally afraid that we would be reported as a public nuisance, it was good to know that everyone took it all in good faith and many excited students even came to take photos with us.

We also hosted a Ultimate Werewolf game with the GEEKS and had buckets of laughter as everyone was forced to take on different imaginary personas as denizens of Wolfville overrun with Wolveritis. Later that evening, we also hosted a group of cosplayers for a Halloween dinner get together. We were pleasantly surprised when the very friendly and chirpy group decided to include us in their serious discussion about cosplaying. Maybe we should take some lessons from them and up our Halloween game next year!
