Eat Like a Demon Slayer

Spring 2023 brought us many popular anime titles such as Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arch, Hell’s Paradise and Oshi no Ko. We were literally spoiled for choice! In conjunction with the release of season 3 of Demon Slayer, we decided to replicate some of the familiar foods you may have seen in the anime such as the Yamakake Udon (S$9.90) that Tanjiro slurped down in Asakusa and the Gyunabe Bento (S$11.90) that the Flame Hashira Rengoku gobbled down during his trip on the Infinity Train.

To encourage our Slayer corps as they train and level up, we also introduced a bingo game with various missions. Successfully completing these missions will give our corps a chance to win a Hashira figurine. And of course, the whole Slayer experience won’t be complete without a gathering of like-minded persons to test their mettle in the Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles Switch game as they pit against each other in the pvp arena.

Update: Later in the year during Halloween, we also hosted a group of cosplayers who came as different Demon Slayer characters. I daresay that Kokushibo cosplay is very on point – all 6 of them.
